Lifeline exists so that no person in Australia has to face their darkest moments alone.
You are not alone. We're here to listen.
Every 30 seconds, a person in Australia reaches out to Lifeline for help.
Lifeline is a national charity providing all Australians experiencing emotional distress with access to 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services.
I am passionate about supporting Charities and Organisations that do good for the world and that align with my values.
The first organisation is Lifeline it is a 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services.
A lot of my clients come to be after the most hectic point of their awakening. I specialize in taking them deeper into their journey. I support Lifeline because they are on the front line. Due to the lack of education around the rites of passage for both men and women. Humanity is at crisis, due to the capitalist craze of overconsumption. A lot of people get trapped into the rat race. People feel lost and unfulfilled. They try to buy happiness or work harder to achieve it. More and more people are diagnosed with depression, anxiety and other mental disorders. People tend to have an unhealthy relationship to asking for support or help they are scared to look weak. Then the “last straw” moment arrives. Lifeline it is a 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. People are disconnected from themselves and their hearts. People are hurting and taking it out on each other.
Lifeline provides support for the following plus anything else that’s on your heart.
WHAT IS CRISIS SUPPORT?
ASKING FOR HELP (HELP-SEEKING)
DOMESTIC & FAMILY VIOLENCE
FAMILY & RELATIONSHIP PROBLEMS
LONELINESS & ISOLATION
LOSS & GRIEF
RECOVERING AFTER A NATURAL DISASTER
RURAL MENTAL HEALTH
SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND ADDICTION
SUICIDE BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT
What does it mean to me?
I stand for world peace and it all starts within. Our body, mind and soul is a map of the universe. For there to be heaven on earth we need to dive deep within and face our demons. First step is always awareness and reaching out for help.
I support Lifeline because they are the front line when someone needs help in whatever situation they may find themselves. I want the to help promote the reaching out for help and speaking out your emotions to be trendy, and not shameful or embarrassing.
The second organisation that I support is The Environmental Defenders Office. They give expert legal advice and run ground breaking cases to protect our climate, communities, and iconic plants and animals.
I strongly believe that we are one, we are one with each other, with the sky, with the tree and with the planet earth. We are everything and nothing. I believe that a lot of stress, emotional discomfort, sadness, depression, anxiety are caused due to our disconnection to nature.
We are nature, the more we are disconnected and fragmented from ourselves the more f*cked up we feel.
We are learning and growing as a civilisation, we have more and more knowledge to make a difference. The time is now to connect to our hearts and begin to live in synergy with everyone and everything on this planet. For years now we believed that the universe revolves around us humans, in reality we are a tiny part of a giant organism and we must stop exploiting nature for money. It is time for us to pause and connect back to our roots.
We must think about the future generations. We must think about our generation, the air and the oceans are getting more and more polluted. Animals and plants are becoming extinct.
Beautiful forests, sacred lands and coral reefs are getting demolished. The global pandemic and Covid-19 was such a great example for us to see how smart nature is and how quickly it can regenerate. It is time for us to begin to choose the planet over money. The more we become connected to nature, we become more connected to ourselves.
The secret to happiness is not more money and bigger cars, the secret to happiness is loving yourself. Nature is a part of you, if you are ignoring and killing the planet you are ignoring and killing a part of you.
If you are fragmented and segmented, you are not whole and complete thus you don’t experience joy, fulfilment or love. You begin to seek it and outsource it through materialistic possessions, netflix, drugs, and other addictive, numbing behaviours. And then we are at the “final straw” moment and that's where the other charity I support comes in but unfortunately talking and asking for help is only the start, we need to dig deeper into the core of the wounding. Wounding of our hearts and of the planet.
We are one and everything is connected, all we can do is have radical responsibility for ourselves.
The days of ‘ignorance is bliss’ are over.
I acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants of this nation and the traditional custodians of the lands where we live, learn, play and work. I pay respects to their Ancestors and Elders, past, present and emerging.
